Rare Wedgwood dinner plate depicting an Irish Water Spaniel decorated in brown enamel. The Sporting Dogs of America are represented with the fine and detailed etchings of Marguerite Kirmse (American, 1885-1954), a renown breeder and artist. Each plate has both the central engaving of the dog, named on the reverse with information on the dog and a game bird or animal creating a charming image. These wedgwood plates are highly collectable and I was fortunate to locate these here in Dublin (see other listings)
